Let's push the Teacher's Day post a little. Right now, I'm feeling Ivy.
I just visited Mr. Sng's blog and guess what? Hong Wei just turned 15! Hurrah! That's one year closer to the vile creature's demise!
It's all a matter of perspective darling. And well, I think he doesn't deserve to live. So I shall play vigilante and cleanse what needs to be cleansed. Him. Yup, so I do have a personal vendetta with him. But I'm not selfish...Don't go all saint-like with me saying how I'M the selfish and inconsiderate one that seeks to destroy some miserable life form that would mean so much to people who love him (urgh) just because of my own pettiness. Because hello? I'm the saint here. Getting rid of him would make the world a better place.
Ever crossed paths with him? You'd probably know what I mean.
From Mr. Sng's blog:
"I told one of their dads at the parent-teaching gathering last Friday... that the 34 who opted for the pilot programme basically had a taste of CSE in its entirety - it is kind of the missing piece to the whole jig-saw... the place where cross-consortia and cross programmes bonding occurs, the place where joy is emphasized.
Not that they get what they want, but it is the place where they learn how to help one another out, mix around... and engage in informal interactions, especially in the interstices.
We celebrated Hongwei's birthday towards the end of our cluster meeting... it took some time (the bonding and joy, that is), but I guess each photo does speak a thousand words."
And yet by some strange coincidence, all those who happened to be in his birthday party photo ALSO HAPPENED TO BE those sitting at the same table as him on the "induction day" of the boarding school program. Some kind of bonding huh? Within the same 14 people...As I smile (wryly) at the photos...I feel sympathetic and yet thankful that I'm not in there. People like Shuin Jian...I wonder how he's coping. I look at the list and he's got practically no friends there. So give up your liberty, in pursuit of widening your social circle. Make a new friends! No harm done! Please...It's more of a medium to better existing friendships. Forge new ones? Hardly any. People are still staying in their own cliques. If at the end of it Hong Wei becomes Shuin Jian's good friend, then I'll think again. But before any real "bonding" is achieved, I don't regret my decision of withdrawing from the program.
He doesn't deserve to be happy. Conduit of evil. Foul being. I take back my words from the post before the last. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned they say. And hell, they're right. Especially when it's the spirit of Poison Ivy, prominent eco-terrorist and extreme feminist. You've made one too many unnecessary comments fool.
I've warned you here. It should be fair competition. So prepare to die.

I just went shopping! Yup, Teacher's Day is the cause/cost. Anyway, I'm still depressed. And more depressed. And even more depressed.
I have flunked two tests today. Two of which I should not have:
1. Physics
2. Biology SPA - I got a graph that went on like a wave...
Blame: Lack of sleep
The real blame goes to: Me, for not studying earlier.
Fail. Phail. Feyl?
Still...This was such an EASY PHYSICS test! I mean, what are the odds of seeing the two words in capitals appear in the same sentence? Unless of course "easy" is preceded by "failing is". And urgh, I got my formulas wrong, skipped god knows how many questions, and will probably fail.
Miss Chua's smb message actually made sense: I believe there's potential in every student I teach.
I refuse to resign myself to not having potential. I do. Physics is EASY, as is MATH. YES. Work on it and stop screaming.
Oh right English debates today...Well, I couldn't really obtain conclusive results as by the time the third speaker of the opposition finished it was time for our Bio SPA. Troy was as dynamic as usual. But Theron wasn't his usual self...He's normally the egoist and all but he does have the reason to do so. I mean, if he could rebut my points in the library yesterday, why not in class? He can speak up. People with confidence always do.
Just...Cheer up ok?

Sometimes, I feel like killing someone...And yet, I just can't find anyone, nor enough motivation to do so. There's no one, yet, bad enough. Detestable enough for me to hate him to the core so that I can execute my revenge. The short spates of anger I choose not to retaliate, or the bursts of irritation when I look at the dismal failures around me. They breed my homicidal thoughts, fuel my vindictive emotions. But somehow I just can't deem them...worthy of my hand. My green fingers so to speak.
Perhaps I've watched to much of Poison Ivy, or listened to too much "Stranger". But even so, I don't change my default expression of condescending mockery, my skeptical outlook nor my acrimonious tongue. I can't really help it.
But of course, there exists the manual overriding. And yes, I've been restraining. When you shoot your mouth off, I choose to ignore those words that sear like the flames that turn my trees into ash. I take them lightly, for Nature is benevolent. I refrain from hurling an insult back, for that violates my hoped ceasefire. I just wish for something to blossom. A flower, a blade of grass. A tiny sprout would do. But if you choose to destroy and defile the lands I've been trying so much to fertilise, just for a tiny shoot to rise. I won't return the favour, I won't stoop to that level. That would be a last resort. For now, I shall abandon the land altogether, for there would be no point to try and make something grow...When you crush it again and again. Cruelly, just when my babies turned mature. You obliterated them.
I believe what I've done may not be adequate. So I seek to change. But I absolutely think I deserve that modicum of respect at the very least for my efforts.

Failed Chemistry (I most likely did).
Won debates. And got the undeserving best speaker. Because Leonard was clearly speaking better with his Chomz-like disposition. And this will only serve to estrange our relationship more. And this was bestowed upon me by Miss Amperiadis, the Australian teacher which will be attached to us for a few weeks. Fourth Caucasian teacher in my entire life, first that doesn't teach French.
Song mashing is good after we (Glen, Me, Troy and Kiat Long) did it for an hour in computer laboratory 3. Go for the slow songs.
And I just had a heated debate on MSN with Kevin. It amazed me how much of the subject matter we covered online as compared to the actual debate itself.
Oh yea, there's a class blog which junxian created. I hope it'll expand to a class forum or something. It'll be fun!
Norwegian Recycling - How Six Songs Collide (Mash Up) is an excellent musical sedative. It just...mellows me suddenly.

The best thing just happened today.
I unblocked Lester.
Why bear a grudge for so long? I figured I probably still treated him as a friend if I didn't delete him entirely from my MSN contacts.
YES. And he talked to me instantly!!! With a jocular tone!!! Ah, this marks the revival of our temporarily frozen friendship.
Of course, today was fun too with Theron being retarded during Bio. And also Kevin and Leonard who were not being retarded but chatting with me. Right Kevin?
And to top it all, Xujun, Yan Yu and me ended the day discussing our wonderful Project Day mates and mentors.
Lovely day don't you think?

First up, I realised I haven't officially thanked everyone for MUN sabbatical yet so here goes.
My most trusted and reliable delegates of Croatia and Libya for the Security Council: Benjamin and Joel! Here's to your amazing eloquence and analytical minds during committee sessions! And your unwavering friendship that forged our alliance and provided me with those moments of quirkiness and joy! Even if it was at the expense of others (Especially facial hair) ! Cheers!
Yongzhi! For your amazing sharing of MUN experience and papers which I could refer to thankfully or I would have been lost with only the sample provided! And all your constructive criticism and ZOMG points suggested! Not to mention the tactical coaching haha! So sorry to disappoint you that our resolution didn't get passed but we will get it passed next time! Thanks for the guidance!
Nicole! Delegate of the United Kingdom for the ECOSOC committee! Thanks for brightening up MUN with the company and all during the first two days especially and all the smiles! Don't fret if your SC delegate is crap, I know that! And urgh, the flag too. Yep, hope to see you at RMUN if possible.
Gregory! For your offerings from China, I thank you. This delegate of South Africa hereby thanks the delegate of China for offering its resources to help South Africa's economic and social problems such as:
1. Free Chinese girls to be slaves
2. Free Chinese girls to use as fuel (burn) and raw materials (Build)
3. Free Chinese prostitutes to dilute South Africa's AIDs problem
Haha, thanks for cracking me up on the first day and also on the fourth and fifth day though not as much. You should have spoken up more! And remember, get your alliances right! We hate the US!
South Africa delegation: Tze Liang and Zhihao. Thanks for your hard work put in for us to win the best delegation! And we got third best delegation after all! So smile! Tze Liang thanks for your companionship and positive outlook! Zhihao for your stick! And unique behaviour during GA committee sessions! Sorry haha I wasn't there to see you! We were an excellent delegation! And the US shouldn't have gotten best delegation I know, sniff.
Jiasheng! Sigh...I thought we could work together on the first day. So sorry we had to be split and you had to be in the US delegation! I believe you did a great job and I'm sorry for opposing you during lobbying. It's just against my country's interests and well maybe a certain bias against the US? Hope we can work together next time in any MUN we join together in the future.
Leonarde! Sorry haha, I'm getting accustomed to pronouncing your name the French way. Thank you for the help and conversations on the first two days. Pity you couldn't make it for the subsequent 3 where committee sessions took place. And remember, Burkina Faso should be with us! And your Burkina Faso SC delegate was such a US dog!
All other delegates that helped one way or another. Vietnam and Indonesia for your support! Russia for listening. It was fun going against the US together! Cheryl for the laughs! UK SC delegate for being retarded so we could all have a good laugh!
Of course, OT or Admin team for organising the best sabbatical I've been to so far! For the guidance especially. Shawn for the best crisis ever! Loved the informal session until Mr. Mercer came in. Akilan too for the amazing gymnastics demonstrations and the insights you provided regarding the resolutions! Hope you guys liked the card!
Hubert! SC Director for being ever accomodating and brilliant during committee sessions! And for the 4 Ace haha? For your effort too and the fun conspiring against Shawn and Baifeng! Although it did end up pretty bad for S. Africa with all countries targetting their nuclear weapons at it.
Ms Sunita! Mrs Jaya! And Mr. Mercer. For helping to organise this sabbatical as well. And Ms Sunita for helping so much by explaining and guiding!
MUN. Never thought it'd be that fun.
I wasted quite some time drawing Poison Ivy today. But I drew her alright!
Now, I shall prepare for my debates! Listen up ting yit and xiao dong! I will not accept losing! NONO! So you guys better take this seriously!

I realised...
Contrary to what I've been thinking for the past 15 years...
My sister's the empowered one, not me.
Mrs Khoo's right. I lack self-confidence.
No amount of knowledge would matter,
When you have an almost inexhaustible supply of friends who would help with their knowledge.
When you have a multitude who cares.
And my sister has that,
Incredible social skills,
And self-esteem.
Now I know why I don't really mind failing a test in Math...
It's because I expected to.

Sorry for another hiatus. I'm pleased to note that 4 days can be considered a hiatus now as compared to one week in the past. The week has been rather rushed and packed with the Model United Nations (MUN) sabbatical AND the French controle which would be the equivalent of the Japanese CA. I have spent the last three days lobbying on MSN, writing position papers and resolutions. Yes, it is most depressing to not have received the position of a delegate of the P5 (Permanent 5) nations, especially when I'm in the SECURITY COUNCIL (described as the pwnzors). And yet, I acknowledge that I'll have to do my best with what I have, delegate of South Africa, Security Council. Yesterday and today have been especially exhausting as formal committee sessions were conducted and South Africa has attempted to put up a valiant fight against The United States of America, The United Kingdom and the French Republic. After half a day of debating on the joint resolution submitted by The United States of America and co-submitted by The United Kingdom, France and Burkina Faso, the resolution failed to pass with a vote of 9 for and 5 against. Funny how things in the Security Council work. A two-third majority was required for the resolution to pass. And since China was on MC, close allies South Africa, Croatia and Libya, managed to get the support from Vietnam and Indonesia. And we FAILED their resolution MUHAHAHA! But really, their resolution failed to grasp the problem at hand and deal with it according, having to many lofty ideals rather than concrete actions.
Of course they came back with a revenge killer. Today, they merely debated OUR (South Africa, Libya, Croatia and Vietnam) joint resolution for what? One and a half hours? The indignity! Considering that ours was much more comprehensive by stating the different steps to be taken to "Manage Religious Fundamentalism in South East Asia". With 10 clauses compared to their 7! And that FAT BLOB! A pathetic excuse of a delegate from FRANCE (I love the country in reality) actually called for a direct voting procedure on the resolution right before recess! I just removed my amendment and was going to submit a new one plus we had so much to amend. And she just used her influence, together with the US' and UK (FEI) to move right into direct voting procedure when it was so obvious that our resolution wasn't ready for passing and was in the midst of amendments! We got overpowered in the voting for the approval of the direct voting procedure. And the direct voting procedure was the most horrible of all. 2 for, 7 against, 6 abstaining. With two co-submitters Libya and South Africa abstaining and co-submitter Vietnam and main submitter Croatia for. Well, I kinda agreed with Libya on abstension because it was not a bad stance but it just had to be refined further. So we abstained...What angered me most was the unfair allocation of time for debate to US' first resolution and OUR first resolution. So you support the subjugation of smaller nations eh? France just motioned idiotically for direct voting procedure just like that and wow! It got passed? And ours was so much more comprehensive and down-to-earth! Gah!
In view of the UK delegate for Security Council betraying South Africa after forming alliances in the ECOSOC (Economic-Social) and General Assembly delegates of the UK, I have drafted out a declaration of dissatisfaction together with the delegates of Croatia and Libya:
TO: The United States of America, The United Kingdom, The Chair
COMMITTEE: Security Council
STATEMENT: Declaration of dissatisfaction at the level of integrity of certain delegates
SUBMITTED BY: Republic of South Africa
CO-SUBMITTED BY: Republic of Croatia, Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya
CO-SIGNATORIES: Russian Federation, Indonesia, Vietnam
DECLARATION OF DISSATISFACTION
Fully aware that the delegate of The United Kingdom was absent on the day of the sabbatical when delegates were trained to write resolutions and thus most likely lacked the expertise in writing one given his lack of any MUN/MAS experience prior to this sabbatical,
Deeply disturbed by the fact that the delegate of The United Kingdom had given a negative response of “No” when questioned about the existence of his resolution the night before at 11.39pm,
Noting with concern that the delegate of The United Kingdom's box under the column "Resolution" was unchecked in the list of submitted position papers and resolutions at 8am on the day of the introduction of The United States of America's joint resolution,
Viewing with displeasure the blatant stating of The United Kingdom as a co-submitter of resolution 1.1 even with the delegate of The United Kingdom's repeated misinterpretation of and inability to answer the query about resolution 1.1 raised by the delegate of South Africa,
STANCE OF SUBMITTER AND CO-SUBMITTER NATIONS
Strongly affirms the questioning of the integrity of the delegate of The United States of America who allowed The United Kingdom to be a co-submitter of the resolution 1.1 he submitted without any significant contribution and the delegate of the United Kingdom for such an irresponsible act, as can be justified by the above preambulatory clauses, by demanding clarification of the following doubts:
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
1. Calls for an immediate investigation to be conducted by The Chair with regards to this issue of integrity and the delegates of The United States of America, The United Kingdom and any other co-submitter nations who were aware of this but did not inform the chair to make an official apology, should the accusation of The United Kingdom being a co-submitter of resolution 1.1 with the sole intention of garnering support without having made any significant contribution to the resolution before, by the following means, limited but not restricted to ways, limited but not restricted to:
a. Making a public apology during the plenary session of 22nd August 2008 to all delegates from the 15 member states and three committees with regards to the felony committed and required to state:
b. Declaring to view all committee members and sessions of the Security Council with utmost respect and undertake its responsibility as a member state with responsibility and integrity;
2. Calls upon The Chair to take possible action against the aforementioned member states including The United States of America, The United Kingdom and any other co-submitters who may be involved, who fail to act accordingly to the terms of Sub-clause a, should the felony described in Clause 1 indeed have been committed, in the following ways, limited but not restricted to:
a. The entire replacement of the concerned delegate with a more competent and trustworthy delegate from the delegation to be decided by The Chair in the Security Council,
b. The removal of voting privileges or/and veto rights if any, of the aforementioned states;
3. Strongly demands that the delegate of the United Kingdom be awarded 0 credit points, and instead should be further recommended to an autism school or any local kindergarten for re-education on communication skills, should the delegate of the United Kingdom demonstrate any further apathy towards the delegate of the United States of America's exploitation of his retardation;

Sometimes...When your relationship's screwed...No, not love. That's a fallacy.
I look at MSN logs.
And I smile.
Jealousy
I put out my hand and plucked a rose,
A red satin rose with a velvet scent,
And chaliced its loveliness in reverent palms,
Knowing that it was perfect.
Then, because I could not make the rose,
And because I could not paint the rose,
Nor carve it, nor mould it,
Nor even draw its beauty in my words,
I slowly closed my fingers over it
And crushed it.
Ruth Ellison
I smiled at what once was
Thought of what was lost
Frown at what I now see
And revel in jealousy
If you can beat them, join them.
But if you can't join them, destroy them.

Two quizzes I just took: Your result for Which Chess Piece are You Test?... The Queen’s Knight is armed with rose-colored glasses. The mundane comes to life and nature becomes expressive of spirit. The interesting thing about this Knight is the ability to switch from fantasy to reality. There are exceptions to the rule, but this is the type that may have had imaginary friends as a youngster. Their stuffed animals also were great companions. The Queen’s Knight will see the good in almost anyone or anything – but their depth of emotion can remain hidden even from themselves. Circumstances tend to reveal sudden responses. Not all life is rosy and this Knight is not exempt from disappointment or frustration with humanity. They may feel incompetence when dealing with their own ethical values. Things aren’t simply white black, but a grand battle of Good versus Evil. Evil must be reckoned with but Good shall eventually win. It is not that they fight evil, but that they fight for the essence of moral good. Doing something good is quite satisfactory for them and indeed increases their happiness. It is when something is not reciprocated to them that they are saddened and disappointed by others. They learn that others aren’t as self-sacrificing. The Queen's Knight is dominated by an inner world of intense feeling and deeply rooted ethics. They seek to form their life based on their views. They are highly curious of those around them so are readily accepting of others unless their values are being threatened. They promote insight and understanding amongst others and contribute well thought ideas. They however can be a bit too idealistic. Take Which Chess Piece are You Test? at HelloQuizzy Your result for The Supervillain Archetype Test...The Queen's Knight

The Professional

The Professional is the most dangerous of all villains. You do what you do better than anyone, because, as a Professional, you have standards.
The Professional is like the Crook in that they both desire money. But the Professional wants more than that. The Professional wants job satisfaction. It isn't sadism really, he just wants to be sure that the job is done, and done well. No hard feelings, it's just business. Professionals prefer to work alone, but will work in groups if given incentive.
The greatest weakness of a Professional is risk. A Professional is business-like, but can't resist a challenge. They often use the word "worthy opponent". People like that are easily baited. And if a Professional is eventually cornered (not easy to do), they might lose it.

Just a gentle reminder to my sloth-like self:
1) Physics WS (Thank you Miss Chua for the extension)
2) 4 Chinese article reviews
3) 1 LUNWEN (Grossly overdue)
4) Biography reviews (Desmond, Samuel, Zijian, Chomz, Xiaodong)
5) Graphs Homework
6) Plants WS
7) Geog WS? (Would Yaphb still accept it?)
8) Studying for Physics, Chem and possibly Math.
9) Preparing for Week 10 DEBATES
10) Failure of a preliminary research paper
11) French Homework and CONTROLE
To reply Kevin:
Project's Day turned out to be much more of a horror than it should have been, but a little better than the original "no results" show. Jun Jie dared to call me and say "There's nothing on the plates". I should have slapped him because those few words reduced by productivity rate by approximately 400%. True, there were no results. FOR ONLY THE -3, -2 AND -1 PLATES! The -4 serial dilution plate had bacteria! I discovered that at 4pm after lamenting and taking absorbance levels for 2 hours when I could have done so in 15 minutes. So in 1 hour we counted the bacteria colonies which happened to be less than 1mm wide in diameter each on the bacteria plates with the smallest number counted being 872. Of course, there was the plotting of graphs and amending of procedure which we rushed. And obviously we didn't have enough time for further improvements, data analysis and discussion. So the last few parts of our powerpoint was very slipshod. We ran to SC2 only to have Yip Cheng Wai threatening to disqualify us for being 5 minutes late. And the even sadder thing was that the maggot flatulence group presented before us, causing the inevitable juxtapose of powerpoint and presentation quality of us against them. Furthermore, Junjie stammered and paused a lot when presenting INTRO, VARIABLES, OBJECTIVES AND GOT THE RATIONALE WRONG. I would have done the entire presentation myself if not for the required "team coordination" that gives points. Jiaxun was fine with the procedure but overly pedantic until the extent of boring. I made a few mistakes here and there too with my explaining and uncoordinated help with the slides from my team mates. Worse, Sandra was also judging. It ended rather anti-climatically with Sandra asking surprisingly easy questions like "How did you decide to use electric currents" and "What are the applications of your project". In short, we failed terribly.
Bright side, debates is turning out to be better than I expected. Thanks to yongzhi! Thanks for the help! Now, my teammates, let us advance towards our rightful victory, leaving the path behind ablaze with the residue of our ebullient glory.
And yes, even if one of you is stuck in Sabah (Have fun!)
Or the fact that the ONLY other one can barely enunciate or tear his eyes away from a script.
But fret not! There's always faith and hope! Universally applicable lies disguised as solutions that are your answers to any problem!
Onward to MUN sabbatical! Helmed by SuniJaya! MUHAHAHA!

I better own in debates.
Because I've failed pretty much everything else...
English
IHE
Math.
Physics
Project's Day
And even IHC...
Projected MSG just became 4.22...
At least Bio didn't forsake me, giving me an A1 even though I barely studied half of the required syllabus which means I'm destined to take Biology. Right Pamela?
Yesterday was the best day of the week. Math started out pretty infuriatingly with the matter of seats again. And then I barely understood anything again...But Variations was a blast muhaha. That's 3 Math Ace. IHC was essay writing which was tremulous with the gloom of the test results hanging over. I had to split my foolscap loot with Theron after he scammed me into believing the entire stack was his in the first place. Double Physics was going through of corrections so I practically ignored Miss Chua. I was busy commenting on Chong Jiat's drawing. It started out with this woman in a landing posture but I managed to convince Chomz to turn it into Poison Ivy.
Beautiful isn't it? Not to forget Theron's amusement during Physics with a few interesting conversations. Kevin! You were frighteningly quiet! Cheer up! English was a disaster with 33/50. Worst result of the year for a test...Then Bio made things right. Afterwhich I got scammed by Theron again to go ask for marks from Mr. Siew. Of course, it didn't really matter since I already got my marks so I helped Darren so it was pretty much my own decision. Lunch with Chao Xu, Chomz and Theron as I laughed at Chao Xu's shoddybattle defeat muhaha! But after yesterday's near loss, he IS getting better. And SRC! Gaia! My group members helped! Both of them!
Sometimes...Just smile...Even if you keep failing. Right Harley?

"Please mind your spelling. In your 1st paragraph, you typed "Joshua Benjamn Jeyaretnam", when it should be "Benjamin" with a 'i'."
First sentence of the review Desmond "God" Toh did of my biography. Ouch. This week was thought to be relaxing but no. I came back from National Day Holiday on Monday. To find out there was an IHC test on Tuesday which then happened to be "today". So I went mad and started studying, well amidst talking about Pokemon, and reviewing all the SBQ Lorms. Turned out my efforts came to naught.
a) Usefulness 5m. I took 10 minutes. 25 minutes left.
b) Reliability 7m. I took 24 minutes being so paranoid as to not believe that the answer was as simple as my initial suspicions. I'm not going to follow rigid structures anymore...
c) JDC*#E8m I did it in one minute. What do you think?
Projected IH score: 50/100 - Double AU C6
Because Geog today slapped me with a C5. Really I should have taken Literature...Leonard, you're so right. Gah, HP seems a little less daunting after Rocks crap.
Projected MSG: 3.78
What can I say? Self-study with Tan Guan Chye like the past two years?
I hate myself. Bright side, I got humiliated in Chinese class today because Tan Guan Chye printed out my horrible essay to use as a "model essay that lacks depth". Which gives more reason for Theron to laugh at me.
Today...Was just unbearably long...I had to forgo my French again...To do lab work till 6pm...Because I was the only one in my group doing lab work today when the workload was by normal standards immense. I realised Junjie asking if I was going to the lab was just a scam. Turns out he didn't come and went home. So poor me, was left to the idiot 10 ^-4 bacterial dilution for 5 samples and streaking. In case that sounds simple,
Dilution of Control sample
1) Add 1ml of bacterial broth sample to 9 ml of new broth in centrifuge tube A
2) Add 1ml of mixture in centrifuge tube A to 9ml of new broth in centrifuge tube B
3) Add 1ml of mixture in centrifuge tube B to 9ml of new broth in centrifuge tube C
4) Add 1ml of mixture in centrifuge tube C to 9ml of new broth in centrifuge tube D
Multiply that by 5 to obtain dilutions for control, 2V, 4V, 6V and 8V. Which gives you 20 retarded centrifuge tubes, 5 sterile pipettes and 5 sterile droppers.
Streaking
1) Extract 100 microlitres of each final dilution and spread it on a petri dish
This was pretty easy though I fumbled a little with the micropipette.
I'm changing my group next year...Shoot me if I don't.

Guess I'll piece up chapter 12 here.
*
"Commissioner, we've fully equipped and vaccinated to deal with any biological warfare agents Poison Ivy may employ against us."
"Good, Montoya. Get our men ready, we've got a new lead on Poison Ivy's trail. Broke into some apartment apparently."
Detective Montoya gave a nod of affirmation and turned to leave the room when the door burst open.
"Holy..." Detective Montaya trailed off, staring open-mouthed at the verdant apparition doorway.
Pamela flashed a dazzling smile, sitting atop what looked like a throne made of numerous shrubs, complete with flowers and all.
"Well Commish, I'm back, and I've been working out." Pamela said.
Detective Montoya pulled out her gun in a flash, aiming it at Pamela.
"Your poisons won't work here Poison Ivy, we've got the whole place installed with auto-ventilators. Any poison detected and they'll come on. Together with the entire police task force so you'd better surrender."
Pamela laughed, a clear sweet sound.
"Really, detective, whoever said anything about poisons?"
Pamela snapped and whip-like branches shot out from her mutated plant throne, deflecting the three bullets that Montoya shot before smothering her from head to toe.
"Security breach! Secure the parameters now!" Commissioner Gordon shouted into his walkie-talkie, "Ivy...I didn't want it to come to this. Give it up, my men are on their way here and the entire building's surrounded." The commissioner continued.
A flurry of vines enveloped Commissioner Gordon, leaving only his head visible. Pamela stepped down from the plants and moved towards the commissioner until they were face to face. She held his cheeks gently and batted her eyelashes.
"Your men...Or mine?"
A few male police officers marched into the room mechanically just as Pamela finished her sentence.
"Quick! Stop her!" Detective Montoya shouted at the officers.
"You! Slap her and don't stop until I tell you to." Pamela instructed pointing at one of the officers.
The police officer stared blankly at Pamela and nodded, moving towards Detective Montoya. He slapped her again and again while she tried in vain to persuade him to snap out of his trance.
"Stop! Ivy! What do you want?" Commissioner Gordon asked in a tone of resignation.
Pamela smiled and motioned for the officer to stop his slapping.
"As smart as always Commissioner...Now what do you say to helping me green up Gotham? And yes, that means a lot of people will have to die..." Pamela sniffed.
"And if I refuse?" Gordon asked, expression grim.
Pamela sighed and kissed one of the police officers next to her.
"Jump out of the window." She said in a casual tone.
The officer hesitated, looking at Pamela and then at the window, as if choosing between the two.
"Now!" Pamela exclaimed.
"Wait!" Gordon called out as the officer charged at the window, shattering the glass and jumping down seven storeys to his cement grave.
Pamela giggled and turned towards the commissioner.
"Well? I could go on all night."
Commissioner Gordon looked at the remaining officers and detective Montoya and squeezed his eyes shut before opening them.
"Fine, I'll do it."

Xuewei, it's still really helpful. Argh! My vovinam!
And Theron, fine. Xue zheng if you're reading, sorry. Everyone can have their own way, be unique and all with their own thoughts and opinions. Who am I to judge you? And if you can make Theron uncomfortable...Kudos to you. You're probably not that bad after all.
I could try cultivating a species of Rosaceae...With no thorns...One that can actually open up, without dying.
PS: Theron really blogs once a month...Or did he miss out June?

Xuezheng's in ENGLISH remedial. What's the world coming to? Oh wait...It IS Karma. You know when Mata Hari possessed Phoebe? Karma?
Knock knock? You know...Xuezheng darling...Essentially a good boy...Too good in fact, that the so-called God, if he even exists, is I don't know...Punishing or rewarding you? On one hand...It must be hard...suffering this humiliation if you did think that way. On the other, you could learn...Empathise and interact with "those lower in the language hierachy". I don't despise them...Well unless they're totally uncivilised then it's a different thing. But well...My father's the epitome of what I despise. This remedial...Sigh...I actually sympathise...Treat it as a price to pay dear...For advocating Teo CM and being just too nice and critical.
On ne change pas...Juste pour vouloir acceptation...Changer...Ca peut etre grand ou petit...Mais ce qui est important...C'est rester toi-meme. Pas perde ton identite.
Reflexion
Look at me
You may think you see
Who I really am
But you’ll never know me
Every day, is as if I play apart
Now I see
If I wear a mask
I can fool the world
But I can not fool
My heart
Who is that girl I see
Staring straight back at me?
When will my reflection show
Who I am inside?
I am now
In a world where I have to
Hide my heart
And what I believe in
But somehow
I will show the world
What’s inside my heart
And be loved for who I am
Who is that girl I see
Staring straight back at me?
Why is my reflection
Someone I don’t know?
Must I pretend that i’m
Someone else for all time?
When will my reflection show
Who I am inside?
There’s a heart that must
Be free to fly
That burns with a need
To know the reason why
Why must we all conceal
What we think
How we feel
Must there be a secret me
I’m forced to hide?
I won’t pretend that i’m
Someone else
For all time
When will my reflections show
Who I am inside?
When will my reflections show
Who I am inside?
*
Never. Not as long as your heart's still bound by what's around.
Challenge me on shoddybattle please?

This year's National Day celebration was way better than last year's. Yes, don't freak out, I mean the one at school. First mistake, going to school in supposedly overly formal attire. You know? Long sleeves with pants and all. I thought it was funny but oh well, I felt like an animal in the zoo at the terraces. But that's besides the point.
What made my day? No, it was not the concert...The concert is as usual...Fit for a king. Of idiocy? I mean seriously, the only performance that sort of made sense was the NCC rifle ritual and singing by some idol wannabes. And even for "made sense" the rifle ritual only did because their moves were coordinated with the sort-of-catchy music. Other than that, it did NOT warrant open-mouthed retards staring at them as if they've never seen what? A sad wooden excuse of a rifle with an identity crisis problem. Being spun spun spun spun and jammed upwards like they enjoyed doing that eh Kevin? The singing was comforting. Sort of brought back the symphony of the dead. Or that of blackboard scratching. Bet my nails could do that.
It was the crowd! Glen, Yan Yu, Samuel, Darren, Szeto, Chomz, Kevin and Donavan. We were playing bridge whilst fools were embarrassing themselves onstage. Like bridge is the best card game ever. For the civilised British like I would say. We kept playing, taking turns and all, until Tan Chee Wee started patrolling...Then we were forced to keep them. Of course, after the performance, Yan Yu, me, Szeto and Glen moved to SC4 and continued BRIDGE! Muhaha! Szeto has lots to learn. Yan Yu picked up the game extremely fast with his amazing deduction skills! He's going to be a very good player. And we played on from like 9.40 till 12. So the amazing wins were me and Samuel, 9-1, Donovan and Glen, 9-0 and me and Szeto, 3-0. That was the best match. Glen bid up to 5 clubs after my 4 no trumps. He had Ace of clubs all the way to 8. Then he called Yan Yu who had the 7. But he forgot that left of winner starts. So I began. With my 2 Aces and 3 Kings. I finished him with 2 Aces and 1 King. We should really play bridge more often in class!
Moved on to a little lab work before going home. The stupid L. acidophilus still refuses to grow. Went home for a while and then went to the library to read batman comics. Then came homework to slack further. The oven's been fixed so I can start baking!
Oh yes, for once I like doing English homework non-obligatorily. The biography on Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam was enlightening. Who knew the Lee dynasty was such a scam? I mean it's so crystal clear that the LEE authority is abused time and again. The entirely thing reeks of Nepotism. At least PAP nepotism. So if you want to bring down the PAP, infiltrate it first. Of course...The lack of political freedom...I understand. If you look at my facebook nation, my political freedom is -99.09 :). Yep, negative. I'm the only candidate. Similar to the LEE dynasty. And yet I feel wronged. Dissatisfied.
Well...I just realised...It's not the only thing I'm dissatisfied with. Candice...It's not wrong trying to be more than you are...But trying to be something you're not...That's going a little too far.
I'm sorry Pamela, Harvey, Jonathan, Victor, Jack, Harleen. I understand I should remain as all of you. And nothing should change that. Nothing.

Ming Xuan is one heck of a philosopher. Indeed, as he says, when you want something, the entire world conspires to get it for you! Forgetting the moral obligations of course. Let's take an example form today - The Chinese Common Test. Now we all know that if you fail to produce a Chinese dictionary during the Chinese Common Test, you'll get 5 jianbaos (Courtesy of Tan Guan Chye). And that's exactly what I did today, forget about the dictionary entirely. So I actually tried to borrow one from the library but well, the dictionaries in the library must contain some easily air-permeating nerve agent or carcinogen because they somehow CAN'T be borrowed. It should be part of the Hwa Chong conspiracy. That's where Mario keeps all the poisonous spores after he kills the mushrooms - In the dictionary for future use just in case there's a student rebellion. And yet, I wasn't ready to just accept my first 5 jianbaos of the year! Because the Chinese teachers had a meeting! Leaving us students ALONE during the test. And surprisingly the noise level was almost non-existent. Muhahaha, I was using Yan Seng's (Thank you) dictionary throughout and I've successfully duped the teachers into thinking that I brought a dictionary! I think there's a price to pay though...I left my pencil case in school...
Interesting discussions with Kevin today. It appears that there may be some discrepancies in my theory that will bolster his previously-proven "wrong" theory. About what, that's not open to the public. And even more interesting observations. Today was...Exhausting? I woke up at 4.30am to study for the Biology test in which I messed up of course despite all the studying. So the day started off with the matrices ACE test which I kind of failed considering I skipped the last question and failed to answer the second-last. Ah well, hope I'll get 2 ACE and with the AMC, IDS and Projects Day, I should be able to max it. Then as I have mentioned Biology was so much fun that I wasn't confident of half my answers. Sort of emo-ed after the test after I saw Theron smiling so cheerily because he would probably ace it. Not to mention his 35 in Logs test compared to my 29...I spent the second period of Bio just doodling around and I succeeded in drawing a man being trapped in the clutches of a leafless tree! The gnarled boughs and all around him while he struggles futilely! Inspiration from Poison Ivy of course. And Chinese Common Test went pretty well...Seriously lacking in the vocabulary department but my content will compensate, I hope.
This week was really trying and well I'm really thankful for the people around me that kept me smiling! Kevin, for always being there and BREATHING! Yan Yu too for helping point out so much, especially that people should all die. Darren, thanks for helping out and being there! Chomz yup for freaking out. Jonathan for calling me toxicologist and be such a utility. Theron will cheering me up every day (Especially during Physics today) and of course, making me frown quite a bit. Xu Jun for the companionship and sharing! Yu Pei for helping me in my project although you didn't have to. Xuewei for your encouragement! And Yong Zhi for chatting (As short-lived as the conversations were) and brightening up my day with "Sluttiness". And all others who have contributed to an upward facial spasm of mine!
Right-a-rooney!

You know that feeling of dread and despair? Like that of one that plagues your mind when you have a Geography test in 40 minutes and all you've studied is barely a quarter of the stipulated amount you should have studied? Or that of having three tests the following day, of which none you have studied for? Perhaps even that of staring at your three plates of MRS agar, dismayed by the fact that none of the L. acidophilus is ready for harvesting and the Projects Day Finals is held in the following week? Lastly...That of being constantly rejected regardless of how hard you try to mellow yourself to a more acceptable social frequency?
Try rolling that all into one and ride the emotional roller-coaster.
I shall find consolation in L'amour Nous Guidera. The tune should lull me into a trance conducive for studying, and numb the maelstrom of emotions to oblivion.
Even Harley Quinn cries.

At least not without a fight.
So watch it.
Dark Memories[10:44 PM]
Before I forget, ICAS English yesterday was just TERRIF AND MARVY! As I remember those...rather disturbing images of Theron doing Nazi/Ultraman poses when I talk about ICAS English, I hope more for a High D this year. Thing is that I got a mere D last year while Theron...By some pact with the devil actually got HIGH D. Sigh...His English is good and I acknowledge that...But it doesn't warrant the constant mocking of me. Uh uh no. Though I barely finished the ICAS yesterday with no time to spare, I have my hopes, and perhaps a little confidence.
And this week's pain and suffering has just be alleviated by Ms Sunita! See! She's such a goddess! She agreed to postpone our IHC test which clashes with the Chinese common test AND BIOLOGY (Translates to most to study for Science) test AND Matrices ACE test. And yet I failed her during today's IHC practice...Giving Theron another reason to laugh...I just hope the same thing happens to me like the previous two IHC tests; I suddenly go into a frenzy and get A1!!!
Today was fun! So Chong Jiat's not mad after all. Highlight would be the second break we had in the LEP room. Kevin, Yan Yu, Darren, Chomz, Theron and me! Yan Yu was SO helpful! He helped all of us buy food from the idiotically far canteen! That would include all of us except Theron who does his usually leeching. As usual...Without the presence of Tan Guan Chye, Kevin and I write essays exceptionally slowly...Somehow as strange as it may have been, Leonard was much slower today! And Theron had to do a second draft! So it was fun although I may have been a little irritated as I really wanted to finish the essay. So Kevin and Theron were making orgasm/state of being penetrated or blown sounds and I was laughing for the first part until it got excessively noisy. And guess what? Leonard joined in! OMG LEONARD! Yes, unbelievable isn't it? But of course Leonard's just doesn't seem quite right...Nor did it sound right...He wasn't being husky enough. His voice has so much potential...To make sexual exclamations? But at the end he was like going "Yuck". Oh well, it's a start. I can do Leonard's "Nooo"!
Screened "Girls Night Out" in the computer laboratory during English. Shall try to bring "Fleurs du mal" and "Batgirl Begins". Maybe after the hectic test periods.
PS: Kevin...It would make more sense to pluck to eat. Grr!

Kevin, I shall try and believe that joy can be derived from doing homework, for now. And hopefully forever. Of course, it only counts when I actually understand what I'm trying to do...In the case of Math...
No bread beats homemade bread muhahaha. My aunt just gave my family some, together with the muffins she made too. See? Cooking is fun! This is hell's week, aka 6 tests in a week, 4 of which fall on the same day. What can we infer from this? Hwa Chong practises double standards. Like Ms Sunita said, "You're supposed to have only two tests maximum per day, supposed..." Of course...Math Matrices ACE test isn't exactly an official test but it can be considered one all the same considering the fact that we'd still have to spend time preparing for it.
Oh yes, Theron got himself a female partner today, so I discovered. No, it's not a horny American whore...Try Chinese (demure?) high school student. Yes I mean purely Chinese, as in from China. He must feel so proud...Leonard on the other hand I observed, looks a little neglected...He was flicking CHONG Jiat today and whatnot. He must have felt pretty bored without Theron. Although I think Kevin's theory on self-esteem would explain this rather well.
Chong Jiat just went mad. Ah well, must have gotten cold feet.
Selling hydrogen cyanide!

Joyeux anniversaire Leonard, and to Jordy yesterday.
I like my father's side of the family, but not my father. Polar opposites really my dad and his brother. At least, in the mannerism sense. Every day I hear at least 5 Hokkien vulgarities at home, from my father of course. Till I've become so desensitized to them...Now you may wonder why I haven't turned out corrupted like well, the many apes in HCI. The answer would be my uncle, that is dad's older brother, and his family. Growing up in my grandfather's house, I was exposed to my uncle's English-speaking AND civilised family. Not to mention, Britney Spears and lots of Channel 5. Courtesy of my cousin who's already in university. I am eternally grateful for the Western influence lest I turn into an Orang Utan like my father. Of course, there is that bonus of my aunt...Who cooks practically everything, Western.
I shall further practise my crying skills, in spite of the Failzics SPA test tomorrow, IHE Geog on Wednesday and (Matrices + IHC + Biology) on Thursday. Hurrah to the slow way of life.
And sorry to Xue Wei. Because when speaking to Vancome Ladies, you must take absolute value of what they say. KEEP SMILING!

http://xuezheng.blogspot.com/2008/07/its-time-for-update-perhaps.html
Yet another insightful post from darling xuezheng.
This time about the wars in HP. Now really...The discussion etc about it sounds really exciting...Nevertheless, I will stay bound to the Sciences if I chose that path. And so he speaks up for Ms Teo CM. Apparently, someone complained to Esther about TCM and then Esther took it up to the higher powers. Of course, TCM retaliated with her "evidence" of accounts from 9 students saying that she's a good teacher. Xuezheng may advocate that but no. To hell with that bitch.
Pardon me but I don't give a damn if she teaches well or produces top-notch students. Much less care about her positive qualities. She has failed utterly as a teacher. Yes, the dictatorial and tyrannical descriptions may sound cliche mais oui, they're not unfounded. The things she did...She'll never attain "teacher". Her "challenge me" threats and fetish for taking things to the topmost authorities are definitely repressing, talk about promoting creativity...I have no problems with adhering 100% strictly to the school rules and protocol for I know I'm like that sometimes. But if you're going to prosecute the students without giving them a chance to explain themselves, you're not a teacher, you're a dictator. And I'm not saying this because she caught me for anything but because she's just one unreasonable hag. Maybe saying that she's unreasonable may not be entirely true but get a grip granny, get your facts right before hurling your insults and cleverly crafted lectures. I'm only saying this because this witch did something which made me look at two of my teachers in whole new ways. And no, she created so much trouble and agony. I'll never forget that lesson when...And I shall thus condemn Teo CM forever, and ever.
And xuezheng...It is a logical fallacy to deem you a retard just because you're all mature and politically-correct. Nevertheless, continue with this mindset and you'll go far in life...And over the edge. Dead.
So don't go all righteous Prima Donna with me.

Toxicodendron Radicans
Toxicodendron radicans is a plant in the family Anacardiaceae. The name is sometimes spelled "Poison-ivy" in an attempt to indicate that the plant is not a true Ivy (Hedera). It is a woody vine that is well known for its ability to produce urushiol, a skin irritant that causes an itching rash for most people, technically known as urushiol-induced contact dermatitis.
