Leonard...I'm terribly sorry for the previous post. Whether you read it or not, I was in the wrong. I ought not to have imposed my will and own set of principles upon others. It's just...My inferiority complex probably. Maybe...After all, the good-natured realist and analytical thinker...They don't really mix do they haha...Sorry. I'm sorry...Just be yourself, not like me.
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY Fang!
Your present:
Another day. One day closer to greening up Gotham. Once the seeds and men are ready...What fun!
Various specimens of flora attended to her, bringing her clothing and tidying her hair. She washed up with the water spouting from a new plant hybrid she created that could produce almost-purified water as a cluster of flowers bloomed behind her to douse her hair with their fragrance. A few vines came over with her arms which consisted of the miniature crossbow she wore around her wrist and the razor sharp stiletto heels.
"Baby could you get me the deadly nightshade lipstick and enhanced Atlas please?" She requested, patting the vine lovingly.
After applying the last touch-ups of her makeup, she put on her emerald green gloves, slipped into a spaghetti stripe dress and sprayed a liberal amount of Atlas on herself.
Admiring her own reflection in the mirror, she congratulated herself.
"You ought to get an award for this Pamela. Never knew you had in you huh? The boys are so going to die for you."
Woody stems burst up from the ground and lifted her up on a bed of leaves.
"Well my babies, off to Commissioner Gordon's. Things are going get a little hard, at least for the guys." Pamela remarked with a laugh.

Thanks fang, for allowing me to portray you as such a complex character filled to the brim with emotions in my little novella...
Who so happens to be homosexual.
No offense darling but I'll get it done alright. Cross the line before I sign. (I have no heart, nor any intention to die)
Now now. I have made some interesting observations in class...Theron's kinda nice now. At least he kicks me. Ok, maybe just my bag but I love his sexual humour. Brightens things up and allows me to tap into my inner Vancome. Plus, he's not well, dumb. Not like the average vulgarity spouter that barely knows what he's talking about, Theron actually does it with finesse. Correction, style I mean. HIS style. The only one that does it with finesse are people like Gregory who are really...Mind-blowing. Oh yes, I haven't mentioned this but I probably should have. At the end of last term, we had some english challenge thingy during english lesson. It was some word game whereby you were given cleverly crafted word puzzles like:
Pod Pod Pod
Answer: Tripod
So we were split into groups of five. Darren sadly was absent...So Kevin, me, Theron, Chen Yang and Xiao Dong were in a group. Naturally we won, end of story. LIKE DUH!
See how desultorily my mind works? Like how I'm starting to like Troy more. He was impressive. He told Miss Chua indirectly: "Yours worksheets are uninteresting." Ha! Eat that! So much for Failsics. And during assembly yesterday, Jiasheng challenged DR. Hon. Yes, my principal's officially a professor, though Mrs Khoo labels it a rumour so I'm still doubting its credibility. In the face of 9 pathetic hands raised in the auditorium, The Hon insisted that he had 91% of the level's support. "Hard data" he calls it. His survey is an utter failure, as are all online surveys. Conclusion: Freedom of speech isn't a phrase in the Hwa Chong dictionary. Then again, who would buy any dictionary from Hwa Chong. Maybe a dummy's guide to failure but a dictionary? Revolution rules!
Lastly, Leonard.
Sorry, I'm...wrong. I...judged you wrongly.
Désole.

Thanks to Yan Yu, I have discovered the wonders of torrenting.
Thanks to Jiasheng, I redefined writing.
Thanks to Xujun, I look at things in a whole new way that inadvertently causes them to be bad.
Thanks to Yu Pei, I hate German more.
Thanks to Theron, I watched Heroes.
Thanks to Leonard, I assessed my class.
Thanks to Kevin, I can now wave at Bradley.
Thanks to Ms Sunita, I love IHC.
Thanks to Miss Chua, I hate Physics.
Thanks to Yong Zhi, I brought out the inner slut.
Thanks to Ephraim, I'm hooked on "Fergalicious".
I probably should have posted this long ago: GO WATCH "VIDEO ON TRIAL"!
Xu Jun's recommendation eons ago (Maybe before the holidays?). To put it simply, videos, are put on trial. As in the supreme court. Basically, the kind-hearted jurors are just being helpful by pointing out obvious mistakes in various music videos.
Excerpt Number One: Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape
"You'd think that if you're suspending the weight of two people from your hair, it would at least be pulled taut. Hey! I'm just asking for a little respect for basic science."
Excerpt Number Two: Fergie's Fergalicious
"There are only two places where Fergie doesn't charge admission...Fergieland...And between her legs...Which coincidentally, are the same place."
Excerpt Number Three: Mariah Carey's Touch My Body
"This video is charged with inspiring countless thirteen year olds to touch their own bodies."
See? Isn't it brilliant? I've been wanting to advertise for it for so long. Wait till I get into uber-Vancome/Video On Trial mode. Then I'll talk about Poolside Restaurant. SLC Outing...Still not ready. I'm having a really...bumpy week. Bright side: I'm torrenting the entire BTAS (Batman The Animated Series) complete! Yay! 17.4 GB Yay! Thank god there're still seeders. Thank you Yan Yu for that. And thank you Kevin who introduced "Pushing daisies" and 'Dirty sexy money". Will get round to watching them. Another silver lining: Debates next week! What fun!
Thanks Lester, for screwing up almost a year of my life with dota, and then treating me like your gaming desire whore.
Thanks ME, for blocking Lester and putting an end to all of it.

Apt I might say. Quite so. Personality test recommended by Ming Xuan - The Dreamy Idealist
The Analytical Thinker
![]()
Analytical Thinkers have little interest in everyday concerns - they are always a little like an “absent-minded professor” whose home and workplace are chaotic and who only concerns himself with banalities such as bodily needs when it becomes absolutely unavoidable. The acknowledgement of their work by others does not play a great role for them; in general, they are quite independent of social relationships and very self-reliant. Analytical Thinkers therefore often give others the impression that they are arrogant or snobby - especially because they do not hesitate to speak their mind with their often harsh (even if justified) criticism and their imperturbable self-confidence. Incompetent contemporaries do not have it easy with them. But whoever succeeds in winning their respect and interest has a witty and very intelligent person to talk to. A partner who amazes one with his excellent powers of observation and his very dry humour.
It takes some time before Analytical Thinkers make friends, but then they are mostly friends for life. They only need very few people around them. Their most important ability is to be a match for them and thus give them inspiration. Constant social obligations quickly get on their nerves; they need a lot of time alone and often withdraw from others. Their partner must respect this and understand that this is not due to the lack of affection. Once they have decided in favour of a person, Analytical Thinkers are loyal and reliable partners. However, one cannot expect romance and effusive expressions of feelings from them and they will definitely forget their wedding anniversary. But they are always up to a night spent with stimulating discussions and a good glass of wine!

I just visited Ming Xuan's blog.
I just realised...His blog is the true success...I do admit it...Blogs? Other than for the sole purposes of practising one's writing skills (Though this is hardly applicable to most of my peers) and recording of events...There exists the ostensible reason - Popularity.
To move up higher the social ladder, a coveted thought no doubt to many. And yet...That dictates the boundaries of the blog itself, no? If this was the purpose of its existence, as a tool for acquiring attention...The blog, per se, would be restricted to only those in the blogger's social circle. And then one contemplates:
What of inspiration...Beyond?
To venture into the Great Unknown, not of the netherworld, but of cyberspace.
A queer thing the internet is. It, links people up.
What triggered this epiphany of mine then? Well, recently two people (termed blog-jumpers though I prefer "blog-hoppers") visited Ming Xuan's blog. And as far as I know, unless this is some elaborate conspiracy, they are of no relation to Ming Xuan and very possibly halfway across the world from him. To have a stranger from the other side of the hemisphere visit your blog...It does show something; your blog is really something. Ming Xuan's blog...I just get that feeling close to the heart when I read it...That feeling that it's the genuine article. That Ming Xuan writes...For the pure sake of writing. It doesn't need to be in flawless and profound English nor contain aesthetic feasts. Not the ecclectic range of functions nor the impressive interfaces...It's...Well...Indescribable...
I ventured into the blogs of the two "unknowns" that commented on Ming Xuan's blog. Eric Olsen and Betty Nurse. Eric's yet-to-mature blog delves into metaphysics with The purpose of life and what-not. Ramblings about the purpose of life being to help others and thus derive joy from that, achieving happiness. I smile bitterly at that. Quoting Candice from Heroes: "You're too young to understand how the world sucks." True, I'm not exactly some adult with a philosophy degree or has seen the world but I know. This isn't the world. With that mindset you won't achieve anything. As much as everyone would like to help, they'll definitely help themselves first. It's always self-gratification before anything else. Mothers feed babies their blood in the Si Chuan earthquake. A self-sacrificial act no doubt. And yet still, is this act against the pre-wired principles of self-expediency that lie within each and every human? I say no. The mother in question would never let her child die. It hurts too much. That is why she's willing to take that course of action. She is in other words, looking out for herself first. It is merely a question of which loss brings more pain; the loss of her child, or the loss of a few pints of blood. In this case, the emotional blow that will befall her should she sacrifice her child is far greater than the comparably minute amount of blood. Naturally, she saves herself from more pain, and does something seemingly self-sacrificial. Call me cold, unfeeling, beastial. A heart of ice maybe. No, we in the Sciences must be skeptical and look at things...Systematically and logically. And most importantly of all, realistically. It's a sad truth, before we help others, do we even have the means to help ourselves? Do we benefit from helping others? And that is why the world is sick. The creations themselves are corrupted. We look out for ourselves, always, before others. And that is why no amount of selflessness will ever be enough. Our world is sick from the time that it was born, not only because of greenhouse gas emissions.
Betty's blog rambles about the all too cliche "love". Love according to her blog changes the world. For the worse or for the better then? This attitude must be cultivated within me, the never-ending questioning. That is precisely why I find this paragraph on flaws concerning reasoning absurd. Well maybe I'm too far-fetched with my criticism considering the fact that her thoughts on the discouragement of reasoning was in the context of marital relationships but still...The analytical mind was bestowed upon us by Mother Nature for a reason. The most fundamental being of course that of survival, that animalistic instinct. But reasoning, is it not only right to do so? Only through discussions do we derive results. But of course in the lengthy and drawn-out process...Accidents occur and jeopardy swoops down mercilessly. And yet to progress, we must try. Love I say, is merely a tool in the circle of life. One of the many gears that cause it to turn unceasingly, perpetually. Or quite so, chemical chaos as I would say from a scientific perspective.
I didn't ask to be born to this world.
No one did.
Kudos to you once again Ming Xuan.

Produced after listening to "So Simple" by Stacie Orrico, "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis and most significantly, "Loin de froid de Décembre" from the Anastasia Soundtrack.
An Impossible Reality
Raining blossoms, falling snow
Embrace, Entangle, Entwine
Face-à-face under mistletoe
Gaze, Inhale - Scent divine
Flutter does the heart ever so with life
One senses another's presence
Interaction existent; harmony or strife
Matters not in the state of sentience
Dare the fair damsel cease her veneer?
Dare the good lad take her hand?
Spirited away whatever fear
Ensemble, ataraxia in a faraway land
Mutually blinded, eyes for each other
Oblivious to all, now completely insipid
Shudder at the thought of such power
The chemical cocktail fashioned by cupid
Breathless, at a loss for words
Entranced, staring in rapture
Almost pitiful the lovebirds
Fools, bound by desires of nature
An Impossible Reality
Ironically exists
Oxymoronic Anomaly
One I can't -
Resist.

After much blog-hopping, I realised, why in the devil's name would I turn back? NOW?
Well there ARE some matters to be cleared up if you know what I mean...*Cough*Dragging bodies*Cough*. *Ahem*Poisoning drinks*Ahem*. A certain *lalalala*Red tail in chinese*lalalala*. Must DIE.
Gaia, ain't I vitriolic and vindictive?
I discovered a quiz on Ephraim's blog! And well for now I'll do Ephraim first. This is what he did:
Drop a tag and:
1. I’ll respond with something random about you
2. I’ll challenge you to try something
3. I’ll pick a colour that I associate with you
4. I’ll tell you something I like about you
5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you
6. I’ll tell you what animal you remind me of
7. I’ll ask you something I’ve always wanted to ask you
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your blog
Yao Nian
1. Your poison paradise… Bad little Ivy :D
2. Slut around school with your Poison Ivy persona.
3. Green. It’s obvious isn’t it Mister Pitcher?
4. Your french, your impressive knowledge about poisonous plants and your company in Sabah :D
5. Another boring SMTP guy. OMG first impressions can be so devious haha. Most clear would be how to squished those nasty ants and leeches with those nails. ERGHHH but thanks anyway haha.
6. Not an animal but a plant. Venus Flytrap XD
7. Did you cry when Hillary lost the presidential bid? OK any emotional outburst? :(
-
And now I return the favour:
Ephraim
1. LADY CHOYPATRA GOES CLUBBING! ;)
2. Cook a 3-course meal consisting of an appetizer, a main course and dessert YOURSELF, without destroying the kitchen.
3. Hmmm...Black? I don't know why this came to mind, maybe your fair complexion subconsciously made me choose the anti-thesis colour?
4. First and foremost, your flawless eloquence and elocution. Secondly, how amazingly easy it is to talk to you. Thirdly, your accent. Last but not least, your companionship and help in Sabah! Thought I'd reciprocate haha.
5. Rich HP-er who hates potatoes. LOL. You're so right. I was so wrong to paint such a distorted mental picture of you at first sight. Clearest memory hmm...Definitely your un-rehearsed speech during sharing session that totally blew me off my feet. Ok, I have to concede the bitching around was clearer :P
6. An amicable white snake. Don't ask me why my mind works so randomly!
7. Do you really smoke, drink and well, go clubbing? XD
And NO! I did not cry! I am now plotting how to topple Obama instead, no time to waste on shedding worthless tears.
Dark Memories[7:41 PM]
So many things going through my head. I must keep my blog posts punctual. A disgusting loss of so much I wanted to post. Like the poolside review for instance. Oh but I will churn that out, mark my words.
I just discovered who Glendon is. And all along I thought he was of the same age! Incredibly, thanks to Yong Zhi's blog, I blasted found out he was a Secondary Two. Gah.
I dedicate this post to Kevin for telling me about iMUN@AC. Definitely envious and yes, I'd love to join you in the next MUN. Why is my life so cursed...
Oh and I found my toolbox. Gloves, potassium dichromate VI (Somehow it has turned into this green solution which I hope Xujun will be able to identify), hydrochloric acid, needle set, pin case, paper-and-staple projectiles (The sharp iron tips have rusted hmmm), tweezers, rubber bands and rope. And I smiled when I thought of the madness I pursued in the past. Then again, it seemingly made sense. This, my little kit of experimentation, used to create weapons and poisons...It was Poison Ivy who urged me on towards the path of Sciences. I had set my mind on the Humanities, together with Jiasheng...But...The obsessions came...Chilli Spray...Pestle and Mortar...Dumbcane...Jatropha...
I wonder...
There's no turning back.

14th Student Leaders Convention (Not camp! We're civilised!):
Speak fool! What, mortal! Die smiling! In Azshara's name!
Astonishingly, I could utter dota quotes during SLC. From left to right for hardcore dota players (wait, it should be for the amateurs) :
Speak fool! - Abaddon, Lord of Avernus
What, mortal! - Nevermore, Shadowfiend
Die smiling! - Akasha, Queen of Pain
In Azshara's name! - Slardar, Slithereen Guard
Yep, pretty much what I randomly hissed/shrieked for the first and last day. Oh yeah, "speak fool" was used quite often during meetings.
This year's SLC was well, pretty much what every single SLC was, is, will be:
Just superadeliciouspunkyippeextremeexhiliratingodlyou-wouldn't-miss-it-for-your-life!
Just linking random words together. My vocabulary's pretty depleted now. Guess it's just one of those moods. Okay, this year's experience was totally...Unexpected. And there I was thinking I could anticipate everything after having gone for it last year. But well, every SLC experience is different. Yes, the people make the difference. So the first day's morning was registration and all. I forgot to bring the indemnity form but then again they didn't collect it anyway. I was frantically searching the list on the notice board in front of Oei Teong Ham Hall, trying to find people I knew that would be in my group. Curses! None! After looking at Edwin, Jonathan, Chuan Yu, Kai Yuen all in different groups and clusters from me...There's always the silver lining no doubt. Immersed in an entirely foreign environment, I could know more people, and practise my interpersonal skills. Not exactly foreign since SLC was in Hwa Chong and it was my second year participating in it. So I was hoping for a facilitator I knew and thank Gaia who granted me my wish. Although she doesn't really deserve it on the surface, she created Man whom in turn humans and therefore, my facilitator, descended from. Digress not boy. Presenting my group:
Facilitator: Samuel Lim Zong Sheng
Members:
Me
John Yip (Hong Kong)
Saritha
Mardhiah
Cameron Brumby (Australia)
Abigail
Han Song
Basserat
Amanda
Dayang
Teresa (Indonesia)
Kay Hian
Head Facilitator: Marissa Chan (MARS)
Cluster director: JOYslyn
Amazing race was a blast as compared to last year. And nope it's not the race itself but the experience. Maybe I got a more interactive group I suppose. Last year I only spoke to like 2 girls from my group most of the time. This year I spoke to like almost everyone. And probably because after OB Sabah I found the distance covered laughable while I was lamenting about 2 hours of walking last year. Not to forget our MARSnifique Marissa head facilitator which gave us so much allowance. Last year's facilitator was much more bubbly than Samuel this year (Justine :)) but hey, a guy and a girl. Gender differences extend to disposition too, really. Samuel was still fun though but you can't go as high as Justine if you're a guy. Don't blame ya! For the race, we dominated! Thanks to SAMUEL and MARISSA! Excellent monsieur! We started off...Having a discount. because the first venue was so absurdly far at the Singapore Art House, Marissa kindly conducted the first activity in front of this giant white monument which well, phalic symbol. Anyway, ok the last two words were just desultory. So we did this writing on the back thingy to pass a message. A poem to be exact. And Marissa was so kind to give clues and all. We solved it relatively quickly I guess thanks to John. And I suppose Marissa was closing one eye, half-blind to our passing of whispered words rather than writing on backs. So for the subsequent tasks, they were a breeze! We loved the bonus on-the-way points, those that were awarded for spotting stuff like "woman wearing Gucci sunglasses" or "two schoolgirls". We completed that and the car brands one. We managed to spot every single car brand I think. I remember the snatching sweets game in the underpass which was rather a scam since it was a blatant giving away of marks. And there was the rubik's cue activity which I completely ignored since I was completely clueless about that multi-coloured "magic box". And we were supposed to solve one face, which I couldn't even do...Yet, still I refuse to learn the arts of unlocking Pandora's Box, for I wouldn't want to release the evils within no? Sadly, Samuel couldn't join us for the first half because of SMO but he still did during lunch! Haha, Cameron was such a comedian. He was like all hyped up when we went to burger king. Apparently, boarding school food is fit for a king of garbageland? Now we have Cameron who detests most Asian food, and well, hates Burger King's onion rings not to mention the awfully high metabolism rate. Then there were tasks like forming a giant "I Love 14 SLC" with any items participants had on hand and stacking shoes to reach the 60cm threshold. But one of the best tasks was the transferring of water. Ming Xuan was the OT member in charge of that station haha. But then again, he refused to tell me if the water was potable while Samuel said "drink won't die one lah". We were supposed to transfer approximately 300 ml of water from one point to another with the distance between the two points being about 50 metres. The catch? Do it using 15 straws. Now, the retarded thing to do would be to use the cover-tip-of-straw-with-finger pressure method. Since we were to beat a timing of 40 plus seconds, we went along with the conventional but sensible way; sucking the water into our mouths using straws and then spitting it out into the other bottle. And so, regardless of our fates, we sucked the water in, and became the suckers. Naturally, the OT knew from the very start we would do that and well, saturated the half-filled bottle of mineral water with coarse SALT. Point of saturation indeed as I couldn't keep the murderously salty salt solution in my mouth for more than 10 seconds while I ran towards the empty bottle at the end. Three-quarters of my way there, I burst into laughter and half of the contents spilled out from my mouth. But then again, no one's liable. There's the almighty indemnity form no? But I take my hat off to the OT. Kudos to whoever was smart/sadistic enough to think of this. And then we came across this wedding couple taking pictures while we were trying to find some underpass. So our incredibly generous FAC Samuel offered us $10, 000 if we could get a photo taken with them. And me, being so evil with my principles guided by expediency went up to request for a picture to be taken. The groom was amazingly spontaneous with his "Sure!". Poof! Our youth organisation just got $10, 000 richer (Youth organisations or groups would be awarded money should they complete their tasks at the various stations) This year's mass games was well, hardly a game. We did banner painting! *Pauses for sniggers/ZOMGWTFs* Yup, as compared to last year's water bombs, not as...Invigorating...But just like I expected with my superior deduction skills, the banners were just a small part of the grand design, the gigantic banner with all the other banners making up "I LOVE (Heart shape) 14th SLC". Though the adrenaline rushes were absent, the banner painting definitely served to bond the group better. After all, like Mrs Tharman said, it's through art that we express ourselves. Voici l'image:
You can see my group's banner at the top rightmost corner of the heart. It's rather conspicuous with the oversized "US". ~FulgentiUS~ And the trademark painted by me beside it - a rose. Ugly I admit but using only fingers and horribly diluted paint...I must say I did a fairly good job.
Day 2 was somewhat hectic. We did the same old discussion and drafting of action paper. And like last year, we were desperate for time. Due to my overemphasis on the elaboration of existing problems faced in the sphere of promoting creative thinking out of the three in "Developing Affective Education". And so, Samuel was so very clever to suggest splitting up. So half of us stayed behind (Although I did all the work) while the other half went to the computer lab to finish up our structure et cetera. In our hurry, we forgot about our budget...Nevertheless, I applaud my rigorous synonymising for the elaboration of problems, Samuel for facilitaing the discussion, Kay Hian for being such a helpful second opinion, John for raising numerous suggestions and giving us an insight of the rote learning in Hong Kong, Teresa for sharing about Indonesia's education system and comments on our proposed suggestions, Han Song for looking on the macro-scale level to evaluate our suggestions and the rest of the group for sharing about those splendid activites in your school that promote creative thinking. Oh yes! Miss Marissa Chan and Miss Joyslyn Lai was also very obliging and magnanimous in allocating us extra time in our time of need. "Care for a scone? Our French caretaker Elise does make such delectable ones." God, I'm going British. Ok anyway. I LOVED CLUSTER MEETINGS! They were so fun. Let's break my Cluster up shall we? Basically, we're made up of 6 youth organisations, namely Fulgentius (ME), Aine, Lumina, Aglaia, Odina and Sana. The notable groups? Fulgentius, Aine and Lumina. Aglaia, Odina and Sana did speak up but not as much. We could have been described as "spamming". But then again, it's one thing to spam without content and another to do so with finesse and substance. Sadly, Lumina lacked the latter. Aine was full of the former and spunk thanks to Shawn, Secondary Two from debates. Also know as the best delegate from my cluster. So, Fulgentius and Aine sort of formed an alliance to fend off Lumina which was repeatedly assaulting every group's presentation with questions. Verbal diarrhoea I call it. Notable spammer Nicholas was shooting his mouth off...And himself in the leg. Magnificent cluster meeting; much more tension as compared to last year.
Our darling ally, Aine. Taken during a 5 minute break in midst of our taut meeting. Yes it could snap anytime.
And this is FulgentiUS!
Day 3 was pretty much the same with more cluster meetings and our very first consortium meeting. Cluster meeting B means...AMENDMENT TIME! Muhahaha...Group politics really comes into play now. Divisions: Fulgentius/Aine VS Lumina Neutral Parties: Odina/Sana/Aglaia. I got my very first amendment passed with 5 for and 0 against :) That's the equivalent of a full marks. As for Lumina...Out of the 10 amendments they made, only 2 passed with a good 4 or 5 amendments garnering full objection from all groups participating in the direct voting procedure. Rephrase: Two pathetic one/two word amendments passed. Fulgentius and Aine (Especially me) made rather lengthy AND sensible amendments. I commend Shawn though, an astute child. And yet, he plays dota! Nonetheless...One must tread lightly when necessary. He was discerning in his judgement and made his points concise and to the point, rendering Lumina at a loss for words. Bravo! Brava! I decided to act a little Vancome and garnished my delightful time during Cluster Meeting B with a tiny dash of sarcasm. Abstract:
Original: "SPARK the creativity in you!"
Fulgentius' amendment: "SPARKREATIVITY"
Shawn: *comments* Simple wordplay
Joyslyn: Participant from youth organisation Fulgentius please stand to elaborate on your amendment.
Me: As you can all see, it's wordplay by joining "spark" and "creativity" together by substituting the "c" with spark's "k". Basically it's a pun. Yea.
Joyslyn: Thank you participant. Would anyone wish to comment on this amendment.
*LuminICHOLAS raises placard*
Joyslyn: Participant from youth organisation Lumina you have been recognised.
Nicholas: What do you-
Joyslyn: *Ting!* Participants are reminded to use the third person tone of register.
Nicholas: Sorry. What do you mean by spark reactivity?
Me: Oh. Fulgentius would like to introduce this term called a "verb" to Lumina. Yea so you see, "spark" is a verb. *Giggles and waits for the audience to finish laughing* And another term called a "noun". So in this case, "creativity" is a noun so when you put the verb and the noun together you get "SPARKREATIVITY".
Gaia, I love such people. Lumina was being rather self-contradictory though. Usually after seemingly having an issue with the amendment, they would still vote for it to pass...Strange really considering the fact that I thought Lumina would be luminous...And bright?
Day 3/4 was when my cluster joined to become one, differences set aside as we pit ourselves against OTHER clusters. I take my hat off to Shawn who repeatedly presented the same thing at least 5 times as Aine's action paper was chosen to represent our cluster. So he had to present again and again and again given his title as the presenter of Aine. But he got the best delegate thingamabob so I do suppose it was worth it. So our plan during the final consortium assembly was to spam other clusters for all we're worth. Sadly, Lumina and Aine kept spamming to the extent that Fulgentius could only speak once. And Lumina took a rather protracted time too. Aine with Shawn...Well, he's from debates...So he tends to beat around the bush to prove his point but he got reprimanded by Yu Quan the consortium director instead...There was this devilishly sweet Australian girl from the Cultivation of Leadership cluster which was the only challenge we faced. The other questions were insignificant as Shawn swatted them off effortlessly. Another amazing intellectual display of words leaving many stunned in front of the microphones. Sigh. The first consortium assembly ended abruptly in the middle of a heated...debate? Between Shawn and that Australian girl. Yu Quan had to cut them short due to time constraints just because our dearest Madame Lily Neo, guest-of-honour was soon to grace the occasion. It would be fun to have continued watching though. The second consortium meeting on Day 4 was just disgraceful. We had a final overall amendment just before and it was counter-productive...Basically, our cluster's (Promoting Creative Thinking) action paper outshone the other twos', no point denying. HOWEVER, "Betterment of Ethics" cluster's action paper was such a fluke that we spent 1.5 hours out of the stipulated 1 hour 45 minutes editing it to be fit for reading. This resulted in only 15 minutes spent on "Cultivation of Leadership" cluster's action paper. So we could only omit two major sections of two action papers and throw our own in unscathed. However, "Cultivation of Leadership" did a total revamp of their combined action paper by leeching here and there, plus a whole fat lot of synonymising. Copying ideas with a whole new packaging. Brilliant. And hey! There's a caucasian (The Australian girl) presenting! I like it! Caucasian ideas are always so fresh and innovative! Maybe that's why China's so horribly poor. All the Chinese innovations have been stolen and then wow, patented by Westerners. Now, don't get me wrong here, I still support Caucasians but I really feel my cluster's action paper should have been selected to be the best and represent my consortium. I needn't really announce the verdict do I? Emera from Cultivation of Leadership won bah! Disgusting action paper...Filthy crooks...Just because you knew there were time constraints so that we would be unable to question your action paper at all and point out the awfully ostensible flaws...Coupled with your ostentatious Australian presenter...Hmph! But oh, the Australian came to apologise to Shawn after the presentation. "No ill-feelings. I didn't mean anything so I'm sorry if you feel offended" Oooh. I guess we would still have to accept the unfair yet already passed judgement. So why remain sulky and lament when we could pretend to rejoice with the other cluster while secretly scheming to stab them behind their backs. But really, SLC's where we ought to be happy and have fun! But still...My cluster won for the consortium action paper last year...So...Well, what's done is done.
And what about the much anticipated Grand Finale? It speaks for itself. Grand Finale. Grand yes but never a finale. We will still keep in touch, the friends made during SLC. Notable performances though included OT, Facs, Constantine's "Wu Niang" dance and the marriage proposal of betterment of ethics to An Li their cluster director. Here's a picture of the marriage proposal.
And here are the links to the various performances mentioned above.

Learnt so much from SLC...Especially those trick questions which I learnt during OB Sabah too. Thanks to John from Hong Kong haha. I learnt A, B, C, D...And a few others while he learnt point abc and the fly is here/the fly is there. Sigh...Finally got this post done...But the chapter never comes to a close. So I'm making an official announcement. Development of Affective Education SLC Outing on 21st June! Get details from me on MSN, give me a call or drop me a message.

I suddenly felt like writing after listening to Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love. Do comment.
Crossroads
Two paths that lay
One ponders, which way?
That which leads to success is the one to take
Yet who decrees the other I must forsake?
Fatal fluids that possess death's touch
Organic acids that rip molecules apart
Aren't they but the same?
Isn't it a mere tussle of names?
Culminate, Centrifuge, Purify, Sterilise,
Aurora Borealis, Resplendent guardians of the northern skies
I tire of this loathsome skirmish
HALT! To no avail, I earnestly beseech
No, I refuse to decide
For an unwise choice shall be my blight
And yet, if possible, should they converge?
With all gaiety, swirl, embrace and merge
Literature frolics with technical jargon
When Macbeth summons witches with argon
Such phenomena beyond belief
Would doubtlessly save me much grief
Alas! However much I detest
This dilemma that brings much unrest
Still, my brethren lies in disunity
Existing on either extremity
Yes, I am bent on revolution
The abolishment of this tradition
Shall inevitably come to realization
Regardless of others' aspersions
The paths shudder, curve and intersect
The marriage of both spheres of intellect
Attuned to their mutual singularities
Amalgamated to become family

PS: I'm still getting the SLC post ready!

Culmination post! This post shall be full of random stuff (Yes, I can't use desultory too often) including some quotes, pictures and yes, Xue Wei's quiz 2.
Now, we say holidays (This word is oxymoronic in today's society) are times of reprieve but well, think again. THIS should reiterate my point.
Of course, rest may well equate to gorging ourselves. My uncle randomly proposed to bringing me out for dinner on the first Sunday of the holidays so we went to Vivo in hopes of eating at March which I sadly have not been to. We ended up eating at Earle's Swensens, which is the regular Swensens with its menu and prices upsized.
Then a week after, Marche with my mum and sis at vivo. I went there for the first time and finally got to know the system. You receive a card at the entrance (And if you lose it you get to donate $100 to a charity of your choice) and go around ordering food at the various stalls. They then charge you on the card. It's something like a credit card and of course, this is to give you the illusion that you don't need to pay when actually...Well, me, my mom and my sis chalked up a bill of $84.55...
Australian Pork. Airpork? I don't know.
Salads. The Caesar Salad with smoked salmon is good.
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Mango Cheesecake
Banana Crepe with Panna Cotta Ice Cream
Don't get the Chocolate Fudge Cake like I did at Marche, it's not rich enough. Get the Rostis though, they're good.

Quotes
Me: "Spin" should be "pirouette".
Lester: Might as well say bladefury...
Lester: I'm fifteen years old.
Fang: And so you shouldn't be watching porn everyday
Nicholas from Lumina: What do you mean by SPARKREATIVITY?
Me from Fulgentius: Now, Fulgentius would like to introduce this term called a "verb" and a "noun".
Posting about SLC later.

Toxicodendron Radicans
Toxicodendron radicans is a plant in the family Anacardiaceae. The name is sometimes spelled "Poison-ivy" in an attempt to indicate that the plant is not a true Ivy (Hedera). It is a woody vine that is well known for its ability to produce urushiol, a skin irritant that causes an itching rash for most people, technically known as urushiol-induced contact dermatitis.
